Sydney Councils to charge Personal Trainers for using Parks

Sydney Councils have started to charge personal trainers a fee for the use of parks, sporting fields and beaches when training clients and fitness groups.
Leichardt Council will start charging an annual fee from $300-$1500 depending on the group size, following suit of the Waverley, Woollahra and Manly councils.

Personal trainers are now warning that they will have no choice but to pass these costs on to their clients.

I think you'll find Council has the right to levy charges as per the Local Government Act of NSW.

This act wasn't put in by Council, as such they have a right, business is business right.
