Sub-Division Fees

Should you wish to sub-divide your land, you must pay Council fees for kerb and guttering, pay Mid Coast Water approx. $9000 for future water-works, and other expenses totaling about $12000 per block. The owner selling blocks of sub-divided land is responsible for all these fees on each block, but it would seem if your buddy buddy with the ex-mayor, Chadham, you don't have to pay any of these fees to Council, but you do get to have a lane named after you, Urgaets Lane.

One owner of one of these blocks sub-divided his block of half-an-acre and Great Lakes Council took him to Court to force him to pay kerb and guttering, common sense won out, the Council lost the Court case, the home-owner did not have to pay these expenses, so how come the original seller was not oblige to cough up these expenses at the beginning,

something stinks in Denmark.

All these sub-divided blocks are on Mill Creek road, Stroud, has any-one seen any kerb and guttering in Mill Creek road as of late.?
