Rangers go too far issueing Parking Ticket to a dog
This has surely got to be a joke?
Two parking rangers in Darwin City have fined a dog for being tied up outside the Rapid Creek Market. The owner tied the dog up there in the shade and even left it a bowl of water, two parking rangers were seen talking next to the dog, then one wrote a ticket and taped it to the dogs lead.
So now you can't even take your dog for a walk, tie it up while you duck in for the paper and milk without fearing a Council parking ranger will come along and give you a fine...

Welcome to dog world. Rangers and dogs, are like poo and parking. Very valuable resourse. Yesterday I saw a gorgeous dog with a pair of dark sun glasses, lying outside the markets in Sydney, begging bowl in front of him, and tourists were taking photos and puting money in the bowl. Not a human in sight. One very smart dog.

The dog owner was given a warning. Not a fine.
Its a bit rough to be fining dogs that have been tied up in a responsible manner when they allow dogs to chase and kill wildlife in these stupid off the lease areas If they need to raise more revenue then they should go after that group of people who are above the law that is push bike riders Rangers and police appear to lack the intestinal fortitude to fine these people . If you ride a bike the speed limit is not enforced in places like centennial park in fact you can have races involving huge packs these morons Pedestrians no longer have safe passage on our foot paths and if a pedestrian is killed or injured a cyclist is not held accountable even if he has broken the law. Cyclists are not fined for not chaining bikes up in a responsible manner that is bikes chained up so as to block access to cars and red lights dont exist for these hoons. Even when a bike rider who his riding illegally assaults a bus driver police dont want to arrest him What a joke
