Hello
I will pass this onto my technical services staff to look into the problem and fix it.
Cheers
Cr Anthony Boskovitz
Its been like that for Days.Must have lost lots of water.
Lazy council
Surely someone from the council would have see this.Parking cops , Bin men , Street Cleaner.
Does the mayor ever walk the streets of Double bay to get opinions and have a look.
Its fixed, I notice you said Street Cleaner, Bin Men, Parking Cops.
I doubt you will find any off them living in the area. Its up to council to create pride in their work and the area.PS where do councillors live??
marked as fixed
I live in Vaucluse. Have done so all my life except for 9 months in Bondi when we were renovating.
I was down in Double Bay walking around with the girlfriend on Friday night and was intending to go to this site until it started to bucket down with rain.
I am glad to hear it is fixed.
Cheers
Anthony
God I can't believe how nice this Council guy is and no I don't know him. So you expect everyone to be walking around looking at everythnig while they are actually trying to do their job! Get over your selves and give them a go. So in your job have you relied to every email and fixed every issue in your own home. I'd be grateful he's gotten on line to help you out. Have you seen how low these people are paid. The Councillors are on about 15k per YEAR and allll you can do is winge. Moe over to the west and seewhat service you get there!
James
Thanks James
I must say I enjoy my job as a Councillor as well as my work. Dealing with Council matters is actually therapeutic and acts as a nice break from my Masters ( hopefully my lecturers don't read this)
Let me say we definitely don't do this job for the money. It would be silly. I do it because I have always believed that if one is able to give back to the community then they should do so. There are many different ways to do this and getting elected to government, whether that is local, state or federal, is certainly one way of doing it.
As to my treatment on this site. I have actually felt very much welcomed here and appreciate it greatly. I feel as though we are all aiming towards the same goal which is to make Woollahra the best it can be.
I am happy to be associated with this site and will continue to help in any capacity i can to improve the area I have always lived in and love so much.
Cheers

Look at what a leak can cause.Bellevue Rd.
What are we looking for in a council?
Good use of our rates!
I have just been to Melbourne for a week. They leave us for dead in certain areas, nice little Bars frequented by a mixture of people. They seem to have more class than we do, no drunken yobs leaving beer bottles on the streets, a lot less litter.
I walked in Como park, and I didnt see one dog dropping, it was amazing I was looking too.I asked a lady walking her dog her opinion, she told me she didnt know, maybe lack of respect, lack of pride. She also said it was a shame such a beautiful City was in a mess. You might ask Keating what he thought of Melbourne, being a Woollahra rate payer once, he was down there, last week.Double Bay has so much potential.
