Parking Fine - Parking in the Wrong Direction

Got home from work yesterday to find A $140 fine from the parking ranger for our car left on the street in front of our own home, that was facing the wrong direction I am livid I have never intentionally done anything wrong driving or parking. Why does it seem that we have a council worker living in our street who very well might have dobbed us in, seems that they seem to be getting a kickback from the fine in my opinion

Hi there, seems to me you broke the law. If your vehicle was parked facing the wrong direction then the vehicle was driven on the wrong side of the road i.e. into oncoming traffic. Pay the fine, learn the road rules.
