Lane Cove Council - Unfair Parking Ticket

So most days, I park on Portview Road in St Leonards which has 2 hour parking. I am uber paranoid about getting a ticket so I move my car every 1.5 hours.

Today I parked at 9:05am and at around 9:30am the tyres were chalked. I moved my car at 10:30am to a different spot and wiped off the chalk marks. I came back out just before 12:00 noon, and saw the parking cop having a discussion with some workmen who obviously couldn't move their truck because they were unloading. I moved my car again at this time (total overkill to move it a second time, but that's just how I roll). I actually drove past the parking cop and parked not far from him, so I'm pretty sure he would have seen me. It would have been about 12:01pm, as I came back into the office and sent an email at 12:02pm letting everyone know the cop was out and about.

At 12:04pm I was issued with a ticket saying I had not moved my car between 9am and 12:04pm. I've called the council to complain and they are gatting the actual issuing parking cop to call me back.

Not impressed.

Fathers day,
Just returning from a Fathers day breakfast, saw a parking officer heading toward Niellson Park Vaucluse, nice people arent they.
Lots of Fathers and Families out there enjoying a family get together.

They see an opportunity.
Its not about the parking, its about community, and the social aspects of life.
They Councils and Parking officers, can argue all they like, they need to get a life, and respect life itself.
They are very strange people.
