Frustrating Right Turn from Cross Street to New South Head Road

Is anyone else driven crazy by the difficulty faced when wanting to make a right hand turn from Cross Street into New South Head/Kiora Road? Every day the increasing amount of traffic in crossing New South Head Road from Bellevue Road makes this near impossible & does nothing but bank the traffic up all the way along Cross Street.
A right hand turn arrow would be a simple solution, even if it just operated during peak morning & afternoon school & work hours.
