Elvina Bay Wharf Lights

The lights have not been working at either of the elvina Bay wharves for some time and the situation is becoming dangerous.

It would appear that the council has been aware of this issue for some time as council workers were working on the lights more than a month ago with the local electrician Roy Atkins.

I have had numerous accidents walking into wheel barrows, tripped over misplaced items of garbage and walked into the wharf enclosure. When the moon is out visibility is often just ok, but on nights like tonight when the moon has not risen or it is blocked by cloud cover it becomes a problem.

I have heard of others having similar accidents and would imagine it will only be a matter of days or weeks before someone really hurts themselves.

Please rectify this issue ASAP.
