Dangerous Bend on Bulga Rd
The bend on the corner of Bulga road in Dover Heights is dangerous, there is no way to tell if there is any on coming traffic, this has become more of a problem with all the construction that has been going on over the past five years.
There are constantly "near-misses" which could easily be avoided with a mirror. This idea has been mentioned to the waverly council over the past 20 years by my grandfather. The simple installation of a mirror would make the road a lot safer... is there any reason why one hasn't been installed?

The Waverley Traffic Committee has looked at this corner many times and installed no stopping areas at both sides of the corner to allow suitable sight distances. The Committee felt that this was the best solution.
Note: The Traffic Committee is made up of the RTA, State Parliamentarians, Council Technical experts and one Councillor who Chairs the meeting. It is basically a technical committee who look at all traffic issues.
until you put a mirror on Bulga Road everytime you turn the corner your taking a risk. there are alot of old people that live on this street and if you can picture the 80+ year old reversing back down the street to let a truck through, you are sad. the amount of money you waste getting your useless council assesing Committee to look at this corner you could have settled it with a mirror, stop wasting tax payers money and finalise it once and for all with a mirror.
