Barking Dogs Taree
Taree has a problem with barking dogs, but NOT the Council.
Your dog can bark all night, no worries. The Council will do nothing.
You can complain, the Council will do nothing.
You can ring the police, they will tell you to ring council, the Council will do nothing.
You can take down the times of barking, the Council will do nothing.
You can speak to the Officer in charge of dogs barking, he will listen, the Council will do nothing.
You can speak to the ranger, he will report it to the above, the Council will do nothing.
Taree Council wants people to move/live here, just make sure there are no dogs before buying, the Council will do nothing.
Councillors are elected, Council workers are hired but can't be sacked for inefficiency or for bad work practices.
If your upset with a neighbour, buy a dog with a loud bark, Council will do nothing.
BUT BUT BUT BUT if you start a lawn-mower at 2.00 am, Council will send out a Ranger and book you for disturbing the peace.

It is so true and I agree 100%. It is funny how Taree council seem to get away with a lot out here. They do nothing about dogs barking at 2am and then they wonder why people won't come forward and get involved even though they know it is happening. Taree council seem to think they are a law under themeselves and they don't have to answer to anyone. The Rangers and council seems to be on the side of the person who owns the dog that is constantly barking from 6pm to 5am the next morning. Well as they say everyone is answerable to someone and this time it will be going a lot further then just in house.
