7 years and waiting - Moreton Bay

hello,i have sent this email to council and obdmunson and still get no answers or a appoximate year in which it will be done????... with no work for builders and lack of housing i still can not understand.

In 2005 myself and surrounding neighbours put in a application for town houses on our land which is located 400m on the eastern side of narangba railway.The application was refused as the land is zoned res A. we had a meeting with the councilor who informed us it we take a max of 2 years to complete the new area.

In 2007 we repeated our actions to be told another year. And then again on 2009 and told another year. In 2010 april there was the meeting for this area we were told it will be completed late 2010. In november 2010 there was a public consultation . We were told nothing but to check for updates on the site which i do regular and there is never any updates.

We just dont understand our land is right beside the train station this has been going on for 7 years now with still no end in site. Town houses and units are being built everywhere that are not even close to the train station.We have been told it is who you know in the council or if you have the money that makes the process alot quicker.7 years just seems so unfair. could you please have a look into this for us.
